Hog roast terms and conditions
We require a booking deposit of £100 for all hog roasts including DIY hog roasts. If you cancel your booking more than seven days before your event, we will fully refund this booking deposit but if you cancel less than a week before your event, we may keep some or all of the booking deposit to cover any costs already incured by us.
If you are booking a staffed hog roast or DIY hog roast for a Sunday this will incur a higher charge than for other days because our staffing costs are higher. For DIY hog roasts, please add an extra £1.00 per head for Sunday events. For staffed hog roasts, please ask us for a quote for Sunday events.
All hog roasts include roast pork, our homemade stuffing, homemade apple sauce, soft white bread rolls and homemade crackling. Each portion is generous and there is often a little over for any second helpings. It is up to you to make sure you order a hog roast for the correct number of people. If you have fewer or more people than you intended at the last minute we will do our best to accommodate your requirements but please be aware that our hog roasts are slow cooked for up to six hours and it may be impossible to change the amounts significantly. We cannot guarantee to be able to cater for a change in numbers with less than 24 hours notice and you may still be charged for the original number if you reduce your guests at the last minute. Please try to confirm your numbers with us three days before your event.
For DIY hog roasts, we provide your pork and stuffing hot in our hot boxes which you collect from us and return after your event. Please return these hot boxes to us clean and in their original condition within two days of your event. We will charge you £10.00 cleaning fee per box for any dirty boxes returned to us. This will be deducted from your original booking deposit. Damaged and missing boxes will be charged to you at cost.
For DIY hog roasts we require payment in full on or before collection. Your booking deposit will then be refunded when we have received the returned hot boxes.
For staffed hog roasts, please make sure our staff have access to the site in order to set up and if possible provide us with a contact number for someone responsible for the site or event who can provide access if required.
We are very tidy workers and will make sure we leave a site as clean as we found it. If you would like us to take rubbish away with us, we're happy to do that. Please make sure that you let us know if there is no access to running water and we will bring water with us.
