Diamond Pie for a Diamond Queen
(June 22, 2012)On 13 June we were given the huge honour of presenting one of our diamond pies to the Queen herself at a food fair at Burghley House. Although aptly named in the Queen's diamond jubilee year, the pie is originally named for the diamond shape of it's filling - chicken breast and our homemade chicken liver pate with port and red wine, surrounded by pork pie meat and our crumbly pastry.
